For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), and the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), HDHub4u Review Editorial Ltd. is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:

- DMCA & legal correspondence. If you submit a DMCA takedown notice or other legal communication, we collect the contact information and statements you provide as required by law.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs. When you visit, our server records your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, the referring URL, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics (see Section 6) to count visits and understand which content readers find useful.
- Cookies. Limited to those described in Section 5.
2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not request or knowingly collect government identifiers, financial-account numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, or special categories of data such as health, religion, or political views.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and secure the website;
- To respond to enquiries, DMCA notices, and legal correspondence;
- To send the email newsletter, where you have opted in, and to allow you to unsubscribe at any time;
- To analyse aggregated traffic so that we can improve our editorial coverage;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms & Conditions; and
- To comply with applicable legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities.
4. Legal bases for processing (UK / EU users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for non-essential cookies and the email newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — to provide services you have specifically requested.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — to operate the site, keep it secure, and analyse aggregated usage. We have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — to comply with applicable law, including DMCA and tax-record requirements.
5. Cookies & tracking technologies
A "cookie" is a small text file stored by your browser. HDHub4u Review uses only the following:
- Strictly necessary cookies. Used to remember your cookie preferences and (where applicable) your dark/light mode choice. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies. Set by our analytics provider (see Section 6) to understand aggregate site usage. These are loaded only with your consent in regions where consent is required.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party retargeting pixels, social-media trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or session-recording tools. You can delete cookies and disable them altogether in your browser settings without breaking core functionality.
6. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party service providers ("processors") who handle limited data on our behalf:
- Hosting: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA / global edge network) — content delivery, DDoS protection, server logs.
- Analytics: Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted, cookie-less and IP-anonymising by default).
- Email: Postmark / ActiveCampaign — for transactional and newsletter email delivery, where you have subscribed.
Each processor is bound by a written data processing agreement consistent with Article 28 GDPR or equivalent.
7. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With the processors listed in Section 6, under contract and only for the purposes described;
- If required by law, court order, or a binding request from a public authority;
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case any acquirer will be bound by this policy or will give notice before any change.
We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA / CPRA.
8. Data retention
- Server logs: up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymised.
- Contact form correspondence: up to 24 months from last contact.
- Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression-list retention to honour your opt-out.
- DMCA and legal records: as required by applicable statute of limitations.
9. International transfers
HDHub4u Review is based in the United Kingdom but uses providers located in the EU, the United States, and India. Where we transfer personal information outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an applicable adequacy decision.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal information ("the right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your information.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive a structured, machine-readable copy of your information.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@hdhub4u.support. We will respond within one calendar month (45 days for CCPA requests).
11. Children's privacy
HDHub4u Review is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK, or under 18 under the Indian DPDP Act). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
We use TLS encryption for all traffic, restrict access to operational systems on a least-privilege basis, log administrative actions, and review our security posture periodically. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable, industry-standard safeguards.
13. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or by email to newsletter subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
